In 1982 I had an inner experience with the Shamagicans of Gathgwana. It was very real to me. In The Source issue 2-82 I wrote about these Shamagicians and their "Hall of Gathgwana." Recently I read it again for the first time since I published it in The Source. My now more mature, rational mind scoffed a bit at the seeming fantasy of shape-shifting. Yet the strong sense of it's trueness for me is still present....most especially since my contact with the Interior beings had been re-assumed in 2002 with my journey to Zion National Park and subsequent contact with the Merkabah of the Host through Thoth. Now, when I re-visit my memories of the Shamagicans, I have the tools to re-create visually a semblance of them and their world. This, I present to you here in the gallery below. I would suggest that you first read my original article on the subject before proceeding to the Gallery.
An additional note: As I was giving these pages the finishing touch before uploading them, a copy of Mitch Battros "Earth Changes" e-letter was passed on to me in which the Mayan Elders were quoted on the subject of the upcoming earth changes. At one point in the message, an Elder was quoted as saying:
"...we recieved the messenger from Xibalbay, known as the underworld. This has nothing to do with the inferno of other traditions. It is a subterranean world where humanity lived for a long time, after a cataclysm that made it impossible to live upon the surface of the world. There are still some powerful magicians/beings of Xibalbay that live in the depth of this world and they have sent this messenger....December 21, 2112, a date that is known to be catastrophic by people outside of the Mayan tradition--which in reality marks the beginning of changes in the way we see and live life, focusing more on harmony, the key word for eistence in this reality."
Receiving this information concerning Xibalbay, the "underworld" struck me profoundly, as I had been strongly feeling that placing this recent additional material and art in the inner earth section of Spirit Mythos the Shamagician & Interiorscapes pages) was being specifically guided by the Shamagician Burning Man, Thoth and the Merkabah of the Host. I now believe that the intention is to open a window on the Interior world so that the viewer may connect more deeply to the core of the planet as a sacred heart-stone inside their own inner spaces. There is no separation. The Mother Planet reflects us and we reflect it. Through this deep, inner experience with one's interior planet-self, a greater unification of the whole can take place. There is also the re-connection with our Brothers & Sisters within the earth...many of whom are actually incarnations of our own souls in another dimension of earth reality. ~ Maia, 9/24/03
