"The Holy Land of Scotland"
Accessing the Power of the Divine Feminine
by Daniela Schenker with art by Antonia Baginski

A magical book about a compelling archetype, "goddess" and divine feminine creational power within. As a student of Asian traditions for more than 20 years, Daniela Schenker knows her subject. She is also an artist of words and composition that together with Antonia Baginski's inspired illustrations of Kuan Yin, brings this Being to life in the reader's heart and mind.

The book contains 33 watercolor images of the many manifestations of Kuan Yin, along with interpretations, which can serve as a marvelous guide by opening these pages at "random" while in a contemplative state.

In addition, the author takes you on a journey with the evolution of Kuan Yin through the history of cultures and religions of the world. It is quite a voyage for the soul!

You are given both mantras and visualizations for evoking the Kuan Yin within, and some tips on creating a Kuan Yin altar.

This book has much to offer, but my favorite chapter is on Putuo Shan, a sacred mountain-island of China, considered traditionally to be the "residence" of Kuan Yin.

I was in fact, so inspired by reading Kuan Yin - Accessing the Power of the Divine Feminine, that I created my own Kuan Yin pages on Spirit Mythos! If you would like to go there, you may wish to start with Kuan Yin in "The Immortals" and then follow the link to her "Master Key."
