Vhara

Island of the White Mare

Beckery

This was an island of priestesses who were dedicated to the Goddess Arma-Vhara, later known as Epona, the Horse Goddess. In Avalon, they worked with the forces of air and aether; the sylphs and other beings of the air element. The horse was seen also as a creature of air for its fleetness of foot. Horses which were bred in Avalon were genetically close to the inter-dimensional unicorns and therefore had the ability to move between dimensions and the various alternate realities of the earth. The horse was the Power Animal of Vhara. The priestesses robes were of light blue with pearl grey mantles. The seal pearl was their gemstone.

The Sacred Seal

The sacred seal of the Holy Order on Vhara was an unclothed woman riding a white horse. On her arm was a tattoo depicting two serpents entwined. This was an emblem of the 'Old Ones.' The woman carried a firebrand in her left hand. Beneath her feet were the waves of the sea. She came forth from the land now under the ocean to remind her people of their heritage and the ways of old. The field (background color) of the seal was light blue.

The Grail Chapel - Chapel of the Stream/The Way of the Stream

This Pilgrim's Chapel represents the connectiveness of all energy, thought and beingness; through time, space and dimensions.

The Grail Cup

Their 'Holy Cup' was of silver with a horse running amidst ocean waves hammered into the metal of the cup portion, and which appeared in replication several times around the circumference of the cup. When gazing inside the cup portion of this chalice, one would see the face of the goddess Epona engraved within it, her hair swirling about the inside of the cup, studded with tiny sea pearl. The eyes of the goddess were crafted from Mother of Pearl.
