Meare

This island was an enclave for the workings of stone and earth. In the far past, it contained a circle of standing stones, smaller yet similar in formation to Stonehenge. There were both priests and priestesses who worked with the sacred rituals of Gaia here. They wore with robes with mantles of either grey, brown or black; depending upon their rank and service. Their gemstone was moonstone, their power animal the serpent.

The Sacred Seal

For this Holy Order on Carbonnel, the sacred seal was a ring of standing stones with a rising golden sun/moon in the background against a field of pale yellow. A green serpent in the pose of a Uroborus (the serpent eating its tail) was in the center of the sun/moon.

The Grail Chapel - Chapel of the Mound/The Way of the Serpent

The symbology associated with this Chapel represented understanding and utilizing the currents of force in the earth.

The Grail Cup

This cup was made of silver, with the stem of the chalice having a serpent--also in sliver--curving around it, the head of the serpent on one side of the cup, with eyes of green jade. Moonstones were set just under the rim of the cup and encircling it in a pattern of Celtic knots.
