Glastonbury

It is on the 'Crystal Isle' that the Tor rose into the mists of Avalon and the apple orchards filled the scented and magical air as a song of life. Atop the Tor was a small stone circle, in the center of which , a large polished crystal egg was positioned on a white marble pedestal. what is now known as Chalice Well was then called the Holy Ivy Well. It was then a natural spring fashioned into a pool which had a beautiful flag stone spiral around it. Ivy grew thickly by the spring, interspersed with honeysuckle and other flowering plants.

Here in Armagha was found the heart of Avalon. There were only priestesses at that time on the Crystal Isle, yet certain male 'Grand Wizards' (using a modern term) such as Merlin were always welcome there. The priestesses of this isle were known as 'Priestesses of the Veil.' They took oaths to the Goddess - their vision of which incorporated the Christ in the earth - just as nuns become the 'Brides of Christ.' Thus, they invited Grail Priest-Kings/Knights into their sanctuary for the holy rituals of the Grail. It was the high priestess of the veil who chose the boy-child who would be Sun King for the land. Oftentimes he never came to true rule, as those in the 'real-time' (non-Avalonic) world who sought power through control of the throne often exiled or murdered them.

The robes of the veil priestesses on the Crystal Isle were white with magenta mantles. The high priestess wore white with a gold brocade mantle. The power animals of the Crystal Isle were the white dove and the unicorn, although the later was rare even in the Avalonic dimension. The gemstone of Armagha was the amethyst.

The Sacred Seal

The Sacred Seal for the Holy Order on the Crystal Isle was a Grail cup at the center of the Tor maze as viewed from above Tor Hill. At this vantage-point, the distinct outline of the maze is revealed.  Within the seal, a white dove is depicted hovering above the Grail, with its wings outstretched. In its beak it carries a small mouse. The mouse represents that which that which is transformed through the partaking of the sacred elixir of the Grail. The dove is both the elixir itself and that which the elixir embodies - the Christ Consciousness. In this representation, the cup is golden and the lines that form the maze are silver. The surrounding field is rose-pink. On the stem of the Grail cup are seven gemstones: pearl, garnet, amber, moonstone, emerald, blue diamond and amethyst. Each symbolizes one of the Seven Star Islands of Avalon.

The Grail Chapel - Chapel of the Lady/The Way of the Grail Harvest

This Chapel represents the reaping of the fullness of the Christic Grail consciousness, in both the elemental kingdoms of earth and the human heart-mind.

The Grail Cup

This cup was formed from a single piece of quartz crystal. Various star-like shapes interspersed with flying doves are carved into the cup. The stem  is in the shape of a unicorn's horn. The base of the cup is engraved with the maze upon Glastonbury Tor. Inside the center-bottom of the cup a large amethyst is set. Smaller amethysts are inlaid into the quartz cup just below and encircling the outside rim.
