GETTING STARTED IN SECOND LIFE

First go to Second Life and open a FREE account. You will then be given instruction on how to download some self-installing software. Very easy and quick! Then once you have your default avatar customized to your liking (pretty simple) click on the "search" button at the bottom of the SL screen and then on the "people" tab in the search window that opens.

In the search text box type in my SL name: Starheart Erdhein and my name will appear on the left. Select it and my "profile" will come up on the right. Click on the "friendship" invitation button. Note that you also have an "Instant Message" (IM) button there too!

One of the first places you should visit in SL is our New EarthStar Island. Please contact us through Instant Message in-world and we will send you info on about anything you may want to know.

If you have problems getting to the New EarthStar Island entry to get the "NES Island Vision and Community" notecard (happens automatically), just IM me and I will send that notecard directly to you as well.

Once you are able to login to SL and get your notecards at our New EarthStar Island  entry.
